About Me

Question 1:
Describe the kind of person you would like to meet

Let me tell you what I am looking for in a Christian man. He must be a mature, strong Christian walk with the Lord, trustworthy, straight-forward, HONEST, adventuresome, and know how to express his feelings. I want him to be (play) an ACTIVE role in my life. I want him to show me that he cares... little things count big in my book. A poem, a call, emails work wonders. Just let me know that he is thinking of me because I will make sure he knows that I am. He must know how to communicate when times get tough and not walk away from me. Communication is extremely important to me. Silence in an argument does not sit well with me. There is a time and place for space but the Bible teaches us not to let the sun go down on your anger. He has to like himself and know who he is, be content with his life, be willing to attend church regularly if he doesn't already. He must have a big heart and be able to share it, also know how to love and accept love. He must have a genuine love for children; I am looking for a man that has a sense of humor and who is strong willed enough to take charge. I can be quite a handful at times :-) I am not into women’s lib or anything like that nor am I into being seen and not heard. I can be a lot of different things and deal with each situation uniquely so, I am looking for someone that is also versatile. I know it's a tall order but, that is what I am looking for. I want to find a man that I can be his and his alone. No worries about being cheated on. I am looking for a perfect love that I know only God can provide. I will settle for nothing less... for my future. One more thing if you are having a bad day please don't take it out on me. I am here to listen but don't get angry at me when I am not the bad guy. I would not do that to you so, please do not do it with me. Consider my feelings. Communication is very important.

Question 2:
Imagine the perfect setting for a first meeting with someone. What would it be?

Due to custody jurisdiction. I cannot move. So, take this into consideration, as well.Does not matter as long as we can talk... and hang out. I live in the middle of nowhere so if we are meeting you are probably coming to see me. :-)

Question 3:
Where were you born and what kind of education did you have?

I was born and raised in South Florida... I miss the warm weather. I was in private school up until 7 grade and then on to public school... wish I had stayed in private school. Looking into going back to college to get my Christian Counseling license. I enjoy helping others. I have had a lot of hands on experience helping people would like to have a degree backing me.

Question 4:
Do you have any favourite bible verses or stories? - tell us a bit about your Christian faith.

I am very involved in my Faith, daily devotions, prayer, ect... I love to read and learn more and more about what God wants for me and how to extend and improve my personal relationship with HIM. I am involved in an inmate outreach pen pal ministry that the Lord called to start over a year ago. I write several inmates and some of their families giving them encouragement to progress in their faith. It has been such a blessing to my life. And I love getting MAIL. So, it works out well. PRAISE GOD!! I am thankful that the Lord is using me even when my life has been so stagnate. I prayed that He would enlarge my territory and He is doing that daily. I used to help teach Sunday school for the 2 and 3 year olds. What a wonderful age. It was so exciting being able to have so much influence in their lives and have them get their first building blocks/foundation of God in my class. I loved it. And you just can't get sick of hearing Jesus Loves Me sung all the time. They are such amazing little individuals and they tell the complete truth about home which sometimes is heartbreaking. So, if I can give them extra love and attention in that hour I so willingly do that. They might not be getting that at home. I just changed churches and I am now in the choir and hand bell choir. The Lord has blessed me with the ability to read music and carry a tune. Verses: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. -- 2 Chronicles 7:14 Be thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. -- Matthew 6:6 Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. -- Matthew 7:7-8

Question 5:
What is your current occupation? Do you have any personal goals or ambitions -work or non-work related?

PERSONAL GOALS - Full time Christian ministry, find my soul mate: the man that completes me. Just live my life according to what God's will is for me. Obey Him and bring others to know Him like I do. I can't stress enough how much a personal relationship with God is so important and to have that we must have a fervent prayer life. The Bible says to be in constant prayer. I try very hard to do that. I am trying to live out my days glorifying Christ because that is my purpose here on earth.

Question 6:
Have you ever traveled? What would be your idea of a great adventure?!!

I have traveled the US a little, nothing like I want to. I really want to see the world with the man that I love. It is more fun to travel with someone and get to share experiences and make memories. Being a parent is a the BIGGEST adventure.

Question 7:
How do you like to spend your leisure time and where do you like to go out?

What do I enjoy as far as past times? Bowling is one of my favorite activities, there is not much else to do in Northern Michigan so I learned. I carry about a 165 average. I love cooking, dining out, dancing, movies, theater, opera, roller blading, sketching, singing, Karaoke, softball, camping, kayaking, tennis, poetry, reading, and writing. I have a gift for helping others and my writing is a gift from God also. I love music and movies. I am a huge die-hard fan of the Miami Dolphins. I sit and watch football in my Zac Thomas football jersey. I enjoy watching both football and hockey -- Red Wings and I do understand sports. I love nature and being outdoors, conversing under the stars. I am now learning how to Knit, I can't believe that I am decent at it. Well, I can knit in a straight line so scarves for everyone!!! heheh Its fun to make things to give to others. I am a giver by nature. I love to read:I just finished reading Bruce Wilkinson's BreakThrough Series... Great books. I finished A PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE - I recommend this book to Every Christian. I am now reading Breakfast With Jesus by Greg Laurie.I am participating in a Women's book study on Elizabeth Prentiss' - Stepping Heavenward. This is an amazing book and workbook. Teaches us how we should live and act during everyday life and situations through a fictitious character in the 1800's. And I am also reading God's Cooking and the Devil's Well Done by Rose Leibundguth

Question 8:
Finally - your chance to get really creative by telling us about something you're passionate about!!

I'm 5'3 3/4" 102 lbs. I have light hair (sometimes red) and fair features with big brown puppy dog eyes. I have a very small, petite frame. I am a mommy of 2 beautiful children ages 9 and 6. I am relatively attractive but think it mostly stems from my outgoing, strong, spirited personality, I am part Irish. I am a very logical and passionate person. I have a big heart and lots of love and affection to give to the right man. I am a writer so I express myself on paper a lot. OBVIOUSLY. I enjoy sending cute cards, letters, poems, ect... I enjoy laughing and love to smile. I joke around all the time, sarcasm is my friend. heheh... I love to make people smile if I can. I'm a great listener, as well as, conversationalist. I am naturally shy but have tried hard to overcome it. I am very secure with who I am and what I want out of life. I have a strong belief in God. I have unbelievable inner-strength that is due to my faith in Christ. Stability, honesty and trust are all very important to me. I do not like being lied to for any reason. Don't try and con me because I will twist it around on you. What is the point if you can't be HONEST? I have had my heart broken a few times from guys that used me, my husband cheated on me, withheld information from me, or just pretended to want me. I am sick of games. I have a big heart and looking for the right guy to give it to. I enjoy laughing and love to smile. I can be quite comical, at times, depending on my comfort level. I believe in self growth and that we sometimes need to re-invent ourselves to become better individuals. I am very compassionate and giving, but don't mistake this for being naive, which I am not. There are so many sides to me that there is not enough room to even remotely try to explain myself to you. I am very well rounded. Not really sure what I want at this point other than good friends to talk to/date/possibly hang out with since I just went through a terrible 3 year divorce which I am still fighting for custody since he is abusing my little girl. NO SEX before marriage!!! This is something I will not budge on, not interested in anyone who will not respect me in this decision. I suggest you read your Bible about what GOD has to say about this subject. Pet Peeve - When there is an argument or discussion especially online that the person goes offline in an angry rage and won't talk for days. Or freaks out and does allow you to get a word in edge wise... there is nothing productive in this behavior. It just shows lack of maturity.
